No — it sits on top of your GL. Export your trial balance to CSV or Excel and upload it; we handle the rest. SwiftBalance is where your reports live; your GL stays your source of truth. (Direct connectors are on the roadmap.)

Your existing reports refresh automatically. Templates are mapped once; subsequent uploads of the same format flow straight through. New members (accounts, cost centres, products) appear in the hierarchy ready to be slotted in.

Every cell in every report is a threadable surface. Comment, @-mention, assign. @-mentions trigger an email to the person tagged and a notification in-app. Comments are pinned to the account + period, so they travel with the data across refreshes.

Yes — upload data for each entity tagged with an Entity dimension and SwiftBalance aggregates the numbers up through your hierarchy. Currency conversion and intercompany elimination are on the roadmap.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Abigail runs on enterprise model APIs that do not retain inputs for training. Your data is never used to train any model — Anthropic's, OpenAI's, or anyone else's. Prompts stay scoped to your organisation.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your data lives on Cloudflare R2, which secures unstructured object storage with default AES-256 encryption-at-rest, TLS/SSL encryption-in-transit, and built-in DDoS protection. Users can also enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on their account.
